Jojoba Oil: Suitable for Oily and Acne-Prone Skin?

Today, as a continuation from yesterday, I’d like to talk more about jojoba oil.

Since it is an oil, many customers with oily or acne-prone skin often ask, "Can I use jojoba oil too?"

To answer this question first: yes, people with oily and acne-prone skin can use jojoba oil!

As mentioned before, jojoba oil is similar to the skin’s natural sebum, helping to regulate and balance excessive oil production. Additionally, even oily skin needs moisture. Jojoba oil helps keep the skin hydrated without making it greasy, making it effective for oily skin.

Moreover, jojoba oil is non-comedogenic, so it doesn’t clog pores, which means it won’t cause acne. This makes it safe to use on acne-prone skin. It also has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that help reduce inflammation caused by acne and inhibit the bacteria that cause acne.

However, when using new products, it’s always best to do a patch test first to check for any skin reactions. It's also important to use a moderate amount rather than too much oil.
